Oscar A. Rodriguez joined Hooper Hathaway in 2009. Mr. Rodriguez is a trial lawyer whose practice is focused on all forms of complex litigation, including corporate and business disputes, personal injury matters, and wage and hour class and collective actions.
Mr. Rodriguez litigates wage and hour cases in federal courts throughout the country. These class, collective, and representative actions involve a myriad of legal issues including employee misclassification (independent contractor vs. employee and exempt vs. non-exempt), off-the-clock work, regular rate and overtime pay, continuous workday, commission and bonus payments, joint employer claims, missed meal and rest breaks, pay for pre- and post-shift activities, and a host of other alleged violations under state, and federal law.
Mr. Rodriguez has the unique experience of having successfully represented both defendants and plaintiffs in the above subject areas.
