Ashley Waddell Tingstad is a member of the Hooper Hathaway litigation team. Her practice is diverse, including an emphasis on intellectual property disputes, contract disputes, professional responsibility matters, fair labor standards issues, and consumer law. Prior to joining Hooper Hathaway, Ms. Waddell Tingstad clerked for the Honorable Judge Neal E. Kravitz of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, completed a Skadden fellowship at the Legal Aid Society of D.C., and worked as an associate at Jenner & Block in Chicago and Salvatore Prescott & Porter in Northville. She maintains an active pro bono practice, focusing on wrongful convictions and asylum work.
Prior to law school, Ms. Waddell Tingstad taught English in southern France for a year, and then taught (Spanish-English) bilingual elementary school in Houston, Texas as a Teach for America corps member.
