After receiving a B.A. in Economics, with distinction, from the University of Michigan in 1968, Mr. Spaly worked as a licensed real estate broker for ten years. He then returned to school and obtained his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School in 1981 and was made a member of the Order of the Coif.
Mr. Spaly joined Hooper, Hathaway in 1981 and has spent the last 24 years practicing in all areas of real estate law. He has advised clients involved in buying, selling, leasing, financing, and developing residential and commercial real estate, including condominium projects, office buildings and shopping centers.
